Channelling is a flow of energy or "consciousness".
It has been said by many enlightened people that "All is Consciousness" and this
is true. You could say All is Energy, or All is God, or All That Is..
etc.. ...So Channelling is simply flowing with different aspects of
consciousness.
There is an "Old School" form of channelling that people
have been working with for many years and i know several people who do a very
good job of this. This is "Trance Channelling", where the person leaves their
body and another spirit comes into their body and expresses themselves through
the vessel, or physical person. This is usually a very strong relationship
between the Vessel and the Spirit and there has usually been some sort of deal
or contract between them, from before incarnation. I say this is 'Old
School' because it does not seem to be happening anymore, that is, the people
who have been doing it for more that 15-20 years are still doing it, though
there seems to be not many (None that i know of) Trance Channels being activated
in the last 15 years. I am not a trance channel and i do not teach or initiate
this.
I work with CONSCIOUS CHANNELLING, this literally means
that the vessel or 'channel' stays present or consciousness and does not "leave
their body. The channel is present and is observing the situation, they
can stop the 'channelling' at any time and it also opens up the possibilities so
that potentially 'anything' can be channelled in a safe way. There is many
benefits to consciousness channelling, such as It develops the Observer within
the person and this is the first stage of an enlightened being. When
Channelling, the mind is not active, so it cultivates the ability to quieten the
mind and truly experience long moments when the mind is at peace. One
wonderful aspect of CC is that you get to observe and expience the energy
flowing thorough, for example if one was channelling the Christ Energy then you
would experience the all encompassing Unconditional Love of The Christ,
the power, the Wisdom and the Light of being Christ, this is a truly lovely and
enlightening experience!
Artists may call it 'Creative Flow', Sports-People may
call it 'Being in The Zone', many people call it being 'Inspired', it is when
'things just come together' and it all seems effortless.
As A skier i have experienced this in a sublime way, when
i have become 'one with the mountain, ski's and body, this feeling is bliss and
is infused with effortless grace. You Literally become 'Graceful', in all
aspects of the word. Such Beauty is rare in the world, though is always
right here and the possibility's are endless in the potential to experience
this. Many Great Writers and Painters, and most artists will attest
to the fact, that when they were doing there "masterpieces" they were not the
ones really doing it!!
WHY???
The reason such beauty and
performances can be created, or felt, or experienced, is that The Mind is not
involved, the mind is not running the show!........ it may be observing the
proceedings and enjoying the ride though.
Most people think that 'they are
their mind' and it is true; The mind has a massive control over our daily
lives....Though it is not who we really are!
This is one of the biggest benefits
of channelling, We become free of the control of the Mind,, ahhhhhhh peace is
possible!
The Mind has many many limit or programs, self imposed and otherwise,, and
these limits keep our consciousness in a rather mundane and narrow perspective.
Anxiety, 'worrying about what other people think of us', doubt, insecurity,
weaknesses (perceived), and all the crap we learnt at hight school... can
disappear when we open to the FLOW..
I would like to re-name channelling "CONSCIOUS FLOW" as
the term channelling has many connotations of funny people doing strange
and quasi mystical things, when really it is simply about being present
with another part of the being that is you. So...we come back to the
truth ,, that all things are one,, all is inside of you, and you (we) are inside
of it All (the universe). If there is ONE
truth then that is the truth of ONE
